... though nothing remarkably exciting here, just a few simple and basic purchases, that perhaps aren't even blog worthy (poor excuse is that I'm way too tired to make a proper beauty review post at the moment, plus fashion is all I'm thinking of lately anyways), so hey-ho.
Clothes (and shoes) first:
From bottom left and clockwise we have: Topshop wedge sneakers (that are a very affordable version of the Ash ones, which in turn are a very affordable version of the Isabel Marant ones), a souvenir t-shirt from my Bath excursion (I just liked the colour combination), a striped H&M sweater, a simple H&M black top, and yet another H&M top from the current Conscious collection, that I plan to wear in the summer with some shorts for evenings out.
Jewellery wise, we have:
Trendy earrings from River Island (I just love that tusk/spike/plug earring trend that's going on at the moment), a cute ring with turquoise stones from a street vendor in Notting Hill and a lovely necklace from Banana Republic.
As you can probably tell, my style is annoyingly basic at the moment and all I can think of lately is how to upgrade it for the upcoming summer.
Still casual-oriented, but with a twist, not to mention a few multi-tasking pieces that can be dressed up or down (the jeans, shorts and flats for instance). If you keep up with the trends, you'll recognise a few pieces of this year's Fashion Against AIDS collection from H&M that hits the stores later this week and that got me suprisingly excited. I love that they combined the festival spirit with some graphic designs and neon colours (basically anymore trendy and you die) - I just hope that the mens' t-shirts fit me well enough to grab them.
Pointless fashion ramble has come to an end! If I can bring myself to it, beauty review post is next on the line!
What have you been shopping recently? Any upcoming fashion collections/lines that you're excited to see? What style are you going for this summer?
