A little UK haul... :)

You didn't think that I'd return and not blog about my little UK "loot", did you? :)

First of all, let me just say that I had the loveliest time in London and in the UK in general and that I can't wait to plan my next trip there!
More details on my trip, as well as a few photos, will be coming up in a future post (and I literally need to edit hundreds of them); for now I'll just show you the beauty goodies that I came back with (a beauty blogger's priorities, what did you expect?)!

So here goes:

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray (which is a bit of a let down, just as lovely Tali warned me), some Topshop makeup items, L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow in "Sahara Treasure" (and I finally have the three ones that I wanted from all three countries they were released in!), Boots No 7 Extravagant Volume mascara, Collection 2000 concealer (the one that everyone raves about), Benefit Watt's Up highlighter (my god, they have the best counters ever), one of the new summer perfumes from The Body Shop and the feet pampering kit from The Body Shop as well (this was a neccessity, my feet needed some extra TLC after all that walking (think several miles every day).

Naturally, a UK beauty haul wouldn't be complete without a stop at Lush, right?

Being a total Lush noob, I just shopped by the scents that intrigued me the most (come to think of it I should have picked some Karma soap as well), and, so, I ended up with: bath melts in "Floating Island" and "Melting Marshmellow Moment", soaps in "Figs and Leaves", "Honey I Washed the Kids" (now I see why everyone loves this), and "Sultana of Soap" (which definitely lives up to its name)! The Bubblegum lip scrub was a little unexpected purchase (hard to say no to it when it's right there at the counter and you recall all those fellow bloggers raving about it)!

I think it's a sensible little haul, isn't it? I found it hard to restrain myself, especially if you take into account that beauty shopping in the UK is like heaven for a beauty blogger (I could easily live at the Liberty beauty section and Lush shops are so inviting)!

Hope you enjoyed this one! More UK snaps to come soon! ;)

What's your opinion?

  1. I have the lush lip scrub in 'Bubblegum' and love it. It's really useful to even out the lips before applying lipstick. And yay for London (my hometown) glad you enjoyed it and shopped! xx

    1. @Tali: Nope, it wasn't that much after all. For instance: no Soap & Glory, no Boots 17 palettes, etc etc (although yeah, we probably needed another day of just shopping to get through everything)! Meeh, next time we'll do shopping on a less crowded day and area (the tourist in me lived and learned, hahaha)! xox

  8. The much awated London haul!!!

My sister has that BB salt spray and she likes it a lot, though I'm glad you say it's a little faulty because I sure can't afford it ATM! Do let us know how you get on with the Collection 2000 concealer. Also, I think I'll be getting a LE perfume from TBS- did you give a sniff to the rest 2 summer scents? About Lush: will they ever be branching out in Greece, too? I'm so jealous of your goodies!!!

    xx

    1. @Evi: I need to thoroughly test that surf spray and review it properly on here - so far I wouldn't say it's bad (it does work), but it makes my hair sort of dry and in need of a wash after the night is over (and I can't bother when I don't wash my hair everyday in the 1st place). As for the TBS scents, yes, I did manage to sniff all of them and they all smell nice (something u wouldn't normally expect me to say), this one though is a bit more warm and less "loud" as the rest! As for Lush, apparently we can(?) order through their website too?! Not too sure about that, but I'll let you know if I look into it some more! xxx
