The last days of summer...

Nothing remarkable went on this summer: just a whole lot of traveling, without actual vacationing. I did, however manage to take advantage of the last few days of summer for a quick getaway - before a serious case of back pain constricted me to bed, that is.

Lo and behold some of my end-of-summer memories:

1. Beach lounge point-of-view.

2. Battling the love that mosquitos have for me (Mini reviews: the drugstore cream didn't do anything for me, the Korres Citronella spray actually works only if you bathe yourself in it, emulating a car-freshener, and the little Korres plant extract mix does work in relieving the itch, but only for a short period of time, and if you have >10 bites at any given moment, like myself, it runs out super quickly).

3. En route to the beach - nail polish is YSL Corail Colisee.

4. Sunset with a point&shoot.

5. The "mandatory" blogger composition! :)

6. No more mojito for you dear! :(

7. Till next time...!

Hope you all had a great time this summer, that ended on a high note (sans back pain)!
Fill me in on your whereabouts below! :)

What's your opinion?

  1. Love these photos! Isn't it so cool to lounge on the beach at sunset, mohito in hand hehe ;)

  3. I'm sorry to hear about your back pain Hun - but you took some lovely pictures and your vacation looked so nice and relaxing. The sunset picture is lovely and it's always nice to get away to a beach/ocean. Wow, it sounds like the mosquitos love you! I use a citronella spray as well when needed and I actually quite like the scent :)

    1. @Karen Law: Actually, I cheated, that sunset picture was the only one I didn't take myself, ooops, haha! Eh, don't get me on the mosquitos, now that I'm back in town, I kill 2 or 3 every night and still get bitten - the beach ones though were the deadliest!! Yes, well, at least citronella scent isn't offensive, true!!! xoxo
