"My Spring 2013 Nail Polish Picks!"

I got the idea for this post right after I saw one of Sandra's most recent videos ("ttsandra" on youtube), a blogger and youtuber with excellent taste, that you all should go follow asap if you're not doing so already.

Now, I must admit, apart from the Bourjois one all the others are older purchases - I've only recently ordered the two OPI's and the Wet N' Wild glitter from my Spring '13 Wishlist so I don't expect them to arrive for another couple of weeks. But until then, I think I'm pretty much covered:

I bet you all noticed that I'm not shying away from creme pastels this season, right? I just thought it was about time to put the vampy shades aside for a while and go for something fresher and lighter. Let's take a closer look:

Top row from l to r:
- Lee Hatton 130 White. A regular white creme that I got absolute ages ago and thought I should use up before it goes bad, following one of the major nail polish trends of this season at the same time! :)
- Bourjois 09 Lavande Esquisse. A beautiful lavender purple shade, that I'm smitten with for the past week or so! I had a look around the drugstore nail polish isles and this was by far one of the prettiest purples. Two easy coats, that dry quickly and you're good to go!

Bottom row from l to r:
- Seventeen 270. I must thank Athina for this discovery, for this is truly a unique nail polish. Now, I know that it's unfair of me to mention yet another hard-to-find shade, but I've honestly never come across a prettier dove grey!
- Essie Mint Candy Apple. The mint/turquoise green that has achieved a little bit of cult status in the past couple of years, and rightfully so, as it flatters everyone. I haven't used this much in a while, and this shade screams "spring" to me, so I thought I'd show it some love!

And that concludes my spring 2013 nail polish palette! Until the newbies arrive, naturally! :)

How about you, what will you be wearing on your nails this spring?

What's your opinion?

    1. @Stella: I would definitely recommend Mint Candy Apple, it's one of those shades that are on trend every spring/summer since it came out! And yes, light greys, similarly to beiges, are always a subtle and classy choice!

    1. @Lydia: I know it's cheeky of me to feature some brands exclusive to Greece, but I literally can't find affordable alternatives here in international ranges such as L'oreal Color Riche and Maybelline Colorama (needless to say some of the shades and ranges are never released here...)!

  5. Τελεια!!! Ολα!!

  11. Hi Tina! How have you been doing?!
I love reading your nail posts and it's so nice to see the pastel colours you chose out for Spring. I especially love the Bourjois Lavender shade you have as well as the Seventeen 270 Dove Grey nail polish. I love how opaque the colours came out with just a couple of coats!
I'm not sure what my manicure will be like this Spring. For sure you have inspired me to wear some pastel colours - I have a nice light mint green polish by L'oreal so I might pop that on this week....right now I just have a French Manicure :)

    1. @Karen Law: It's been ages since I've had a french manicure, and although I usually tend to avoid it, lately I've been missing it! Pastels are always gonna be great for spring, though lately as the weather has gotten hotter, I crave for bolder and brighter shades! :) Hope you're doing well! xxx

    1. @Jess: This particular purple by Bourjois really stood out to me, out of all the nail polish racks in the drugstore! I'd definitely recommend it! Great application too!
