Dove Almond Cream and Hibiscus (Guest Post by Blushing Loves)

So, today, I'm lending my blog to Irene from Blushing Loves, one of my blogging friends since, well... the very beginning!

Irene has been in it for the long haul and her blog always manages to stay fresh and on top of the latest beauty trends, doubling as a bit of a personal "Νemesis" to me, in the original sense of the word, both to my wishlist, which she often expands, knowingly or unknowingly, and to my blogging attitude, as she always finds the time and energy to do what she loves (girl, I don't know how you do it)! If you don't follow her already, then you should probably fix that, but, until you do, let's hear it for one of her recent bodycare choices: Dove's Almond Cream and Hibiscus range.

"When I first read on Tina's blog about Dove Purely Pampering it didn't take me too long to get the Shea butter & Warm Vanilla which I loved. Therefore with the forthcoming arrival of autumn and flavors obtaining a more woody form, Dove came back dynamically and aqcuired once again a prominent position in my bathroom.

This time I purchased the Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Shower Gel in Almond Cream with Hibiscus, a creamy shower gel featuring the Nutrium Moisture technology which combines nutrients and hydrating ingredients to the skin so that the epidermis maintains its natural moisture during bathing. In a beautiful oval plastic bottle this one in particular is enriched with almond essential oil, which is known for its rich synthesis of vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, as well as hibiscus extract turning bathing into a daily pleasure. And despite the fact that it contains some SLES, you will feel your skin wonderfully soft, moisturised and not at all dry!

However, for a higher dose of almond cream I also purchased the Dove Purely Pampering Body Lotion from the same range that features the DeepCare Complex technology which is the combination of natural nutrients and essential oils that nourish and take care of the epidermis whilst the warm almond flavor and the oriental scent of hibiscus offer a subtle sweet and woody aroma that I find wonderfully suitable for autumn months. Another bonus of the body lotion is its lightweight synthesis, its affordable price as well as being absorbed like a breeze...so as you figured out... it automatically turned into a favorite.

Thank you so much Tina!!!"

Thank you Irene for your review, both products sound deliciously wonderful! What's funny, is that this particular shower gel was on my wishlist already, but after your review, I'll make a note to get it sooner rather than later! :)

Have you tried Dove's Purely Pampering range?
What's your favorite "drugstore" shower gel or shower cream?

What's your opinion?
