NOTD from the vault: one of my first attempts at nail art!

I'd be lying if I said that this was a recent NOTD and to be perfectly honest with you I can't even remember when I took it. But, as I stumbled upon it today while sorting through some old photos, I thought that it deserved an entry of its own:

The above pretty much sums up my first and last proper attempt at nail art, and while I really like the way it came out, I can't bring myself to make nail art a frequent thing - I simply don't have the time. Not to mention I'm not exactly sure I can get away with it at my ripe age.

For the look I used:
- some random light pink shade as a wash
- a nail sticker
- Butter London in Rosie Lee for the tip shape - all thanks to the lovely Tali @ Glossy's Wardrobe
- pink nail art sequins (that you can find on most nail product aisles) on top of Rosie Lee.

Hope my old NOTD gave you all some inspiration!

I'll leave you with a totally random pic found in that same old file:

What's your opinion?

  1. Hi Tina! How have you been doing? I hope you've been having a wonderful summer :)
You made me laugh when you talk about being at a "ripe age". You're still so young Hun!
I love your nail art by the way. I haven't attempted any nail art myself because I don't think I would be any good at it....plus, as you had mentioned it is time consuming especially for novices. But your nails do inspire me so maybe I'll give it a try sometime ;)

    1. @Karen Law: Hey dear! Busy and tiny bit stressed, as per usual! I'm just about to post a little update on my summer - I have to say though, we have to find a more efficient way to communicate, besides blog comments!
As for my age, I was in bed earlier this week with...back pain! Ahahaha! So..yeah! :D
Thank you for the compliment re the notd - I might try and make a second attempt if I can! xxx

    1. @Lydia: Thank you love - it wasn't that difficult though, I was lucky enough to have everything in a matching pink shade - I just found a sensible way to layer them and voila! :) xoxo

Nope, I haven't checked the...fish spa out, tbh I'm not sure how I feel about it?! Fish nibbling the dead skin off my feet doesn't exactly lure me in if you know what I mean! Lol! xx
