DIY Style Warriors quad...

So, this is just a quick post to show you my beauty task of the day: making my Style Warriors quad.
I 've debated whether to depot or not, since I think the Style Warriors pots are quite pretty, but figured it's much more practical to have them all in one place and create looks with it.

So, here's the before:

And the after (clockwise from top left: Soft Force, Bright Future, Night Manoeuvres and Vibrant Grape): :)

And some of the mess involved in the process:

Has anyone else considered depotting the Style Warriors (or any other LE) shadows to fit into a pro palette and denied the pretty LE packaging...?

What's your opinion?

  1. I always depot even if its LE, think of the free lippies :) x x

  2. I love depotting things.. i just did all my body shop shadows into a big mac palette.

Great colors they look better in the quad than alone!

Tina mou (im feeling Greek today)! Now tell me.. how is project 5 pan going? I am very scared because i cant find any items that look like they will finish! haha disaster.. too many things that are in too good condition!

Does it count if i 'drop' something and it breaks and you see the pan? :P xxxx

  3. @TalluluhBella: Good to know I 'm not alone! :)
To be honest, I haven't back to MAC'd, I 'm keeping all the empty pots, but not sure what the rules are (if they accept the pots without the aluminum pan thingie or not)!

I 'm going to visit a freestanding store by the end of this month though, so we 'll see! :)

  4. @Tali: Yes, I hear they fit, huh?

Thx love, they 're sure easier to work with, instead of having to pick them up seperately! :)

Well, Tali mou (so, u know a bit of greek?), I 've lined them up, gonna take a pic right after this comment and send u the link and then you 'll tell me what you think, how's that??

Feeling a bit of a cheater today are we...? Nope, "accidents" don't count!!! :PPP

We and fantastic need to get started with this, and blog about it! ;)

  7. The only other world I know is malaka hehe and when people say 'elaaa'.. so im practically useless. Unless I have to order food. Then I know everything!

I prefer palettes.. just because when you travel i always lose single ones and then there is always a mess at a friend's house when you want to get ready. Palettes make life easier! xxox

  8. Just stumbled across your blog and love, love, love it! I too am a procrastinator. And now I suddenly have the urge to get some new eye shadow!

  9. @Tali: Oops! Lol! :))) Haha, food is a great start for the language! :)))

And I couldn't agree with you more on palettes! Plus I like it when I organise colours from the same collections that can be used together for looks! :)

  16. @♥ fashion chalet: Wow, Erika, this is such a huge compliment!!! I know her, I remember her from The Tudors, I think she 's gorgeous and I would be happy looking even the slightest bit like her!

Although I can assure you, we probably have a similar facial expression than anything else!!!

  17. @C.Chico: Yes, bright colours are always cool for summer! :)

There are many videos on YT that feature depotting shadows, it just takes patience and being careful with using tools or candles/lighters etc...

  18. @Jessie77: I don't think you 'd have any problems pulling those off!!!

You can always add a little color on the upper or lower lash line or in the middle of the top lid and then blend, if a full wash of colour seems intimidating.... :)))
