Everyday Beauty Desk Essentials?!

A common trait among beauty enthusiasts is that they tend to keep a few (or... well, more than a few) makeup and skincare products on their desks at any given time.
Still, there's a handful of products that everyone needs to keep at close proximity, regardless of their work space and their approach to beauty. Nope, I'm not exaggerating here, in fact the more you use these everyday saviors, the less you'll be able to go without them!

Let's see what the "Must-Have" Beauty Desk Essentials list includes:

1. A Facial Spray: When you need a little something extra to perk up your skin, a facial spray will do the trick, as it refreshes, moisturises and soothes your complexion. The one I'm currently using is the Caudalie Grape Water, which, to me, is everything that the Beauty Elixir wasnt: it does the job, without aggravating my skin, since it contains zero alcohol (extremely sensitive skintypes, take note). Another major plus is that the nozzle distributes a very fine and even mist, unlike many sprays I've tried in the past.

2. A Hand Cream: No amount of hand cream is excessive during the winter months! My hand-cream-pick at the moment is the Fresh Line Vanilla Hand Cream, a thick and rich hand cream, that provides lasting hydration without being greasy, as well as a delicious vanilla scent that lingers for hours!

3. A Cuticle Balm: Now this may not be the most obvious choice for a desk essential, but dry cuticles can make even the best manicure job look bad! I often get comments on how nice my nails look, and I attribute it all to proper cuticle care! Right now, I'm regularly using the Pai Sea Buckthorn Cuticle Balm, which was only available as part of a LE holiday gift set (something they should rectify asap in my opinion) and that has made a massive difference to my cuticles!

4. A Lip Balm: Another self-explanatory essential - I mean, who doesn't want soft, smooth lips? Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm is a classic choice, especially for those that suffer from dry and chapped lips. Note: I found this gets a little gritty sometimes during the winter, which makes the application slightly more difficult, but it does not affect its moisturizing properties.

And there you go! All your basic needs covered! Who said a desk can't double as a mini beauty-parlor? :)

Which beauty products do you keep at hand?
